Uniform Information
The school positively encourages the wearing of its uniform, and for many years has been grateful to receive total support from parents, and Governors in implementing this policy. The aim is to keep the uniform simple in order to minimise cost. The uniform gives the children and the school a strong sense of identity, which we believe is important.
An adaptation to the uniform listed below will, of course, be allowed for any pupil who is unable to comply for cultural or religious reasons. In these circumstances parents are asked to consult with the Headteacher in order to establish a sensible compromise.
Our General School Uniform
| Jumper or Cardigan | Navy Blue with the school's logo |
| Skirt or Trousers | Grey |
| Polo Shirt | White or Navy (Either with school logo or plain) |
| Socks | Grey or White |
| Shoes | Black with flat or low heels. |
| Tights | Grey or Navy cotton tights |
| Earrings | A single pair of spherical plain studs only. To be worn on lower lobe of each ear. |
| Jewellery | No Jewellery is permitted in school |
| Hair Styles | Hair should be smart and safe for a working school environment. Long hair will be required to be tied up in certain lessons to ensure safety. |
| Muslim Hijab | If worn must be Navy Blue. |
For PE
P.E Uniform can be found at Uniform Direct or Supermarkets such as ASDA/TESCO/Sainsbury.
| T-Shirt | A plain white T-Shirt. (No Football Shirts of any kind to be worn) |
| Shorts | Plain black or Navy Shorts. (No Logos permitted on shorts). |
| Tracksuit Trousers | Plain Black or Navy Tracksuit Trousers. (No Logos permitted on trousers). |
| Jumper | School Navy jumper can be used. |
| Trainers/ Plimsolls | Plimsolls for indoors and Trainers for outdoors |
All items of school uniform must be clearly name labelled with the child’s full name. Lost property is kept at school for a short period of time. Unclaimed items may be retained to be sold by the second-hand clothing stall.
PE kit should be kept in a clearly marked drawstring bag which can be hung on a coat peg.
For safety reasons children are not allowed to wear jewellery to school. Long hair must be tied back.
